Scope of Work and Conditions

Media Grinders

At Media Grinders, we mix speed, precision, and creativity with a touch of our own Special Sauce. Here’s how we work together:

Turnaround Times

  • Every project is different — timelines may vary based on complexity, but your Project Manager will keep you informed and outline expectations clearly.

  • For quick-turn content like reels and social shorts (under 90 seconds), we can often deliver multiple per day, depending on volume.

  • Most other short-form videos are ready within a single business day.

  • Longer projects vary: edits under 10 minutes usually take up to two days, while videos up to 20 minutes may require around three.

  • Projects running 30 minutes can take up to four days, and content approaching an hour may need up to five. But, many long-form projects can be completed within one to three days, depending on length and complexity.

  • Motion titles and graphics can add to the timeline.

Included Services

  • Support Material: Licensed music and stock footage .

  • Signature Edits: Incorporation of The Media Grinders Special Sauce.

  • Professional Tools: Edited and finished in DaVinci Resolve (Edit, Color, Fairlight), Adobe After Effects, and on request Avid Media Composer.

Excluded Services

While we cover a wide range of post-production, the following are outside our standard scope:

  • Screen recordings or screenshots

  • External asset sourcing (beyond our available licensed stock libraries)

  • Advanced or custom animation, complex motion graphics, or compositing (This can be quoted separately for custom projects)

  • Complex color grading, sound design, or graphic design not tied to editing (This can be quoted separately for custom projects)

  • Scriptwriting/copywriting from scratch

  • Live broadcast, IPTV, or studio-specific edits (specialized packages required, quoted separately)

  • Specific Stock Footage/ Music: If a clip or audio track isn’t available in our paid libraries, you may provide it (with proper licensing).

Turnaround may be affected by:

  • Footage Size: Raw uploads over 50 GB can slow down processing (we recommend proxies if over 150 GB).

  • Footage Quality: Low-resolution, unsynced, or poorly shot material (multi-cam without sync, missing coverage, etc.) may require extra time.

  • Editing Complexity: Advanced captioning, heavy masking, or detailed fine-tuning (like rotoscoping) adds to the timeline.

  • Instruction Clarity: Vague, incomplete, or constantly changing directions can create delays.

  • Project Volume: Submitting large amounts of raw material (e.g., 4 hours of footage for a 10-min edit) increases turnaround.

  • Queue Management: Multiple simultaneous submissions create a queue; tasks are completed in order.

projects move fastest when footage is well-organized, instructions are clear, and special requirements are reasonable
